Methodology
Where do the prices come from?
Product prices and information shown come from Amazon France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK and are less than 24 hours old; each price shows the date and time it was checked (Paris time). After that, we no longer show them and send you to Amazon instead.
When you open a product page whose prices are more than 24 hours old, your browser asks for a refresh; prices appear as soon as they are checked.
Prices in euros, VAT included, delivery excluded. The price shown on Amazon at the time of purchase applies.
Which price is highlighted?
The lowest price among the Amazon stores of the European Union (France, Germany, Italy, Spain) is highlighted; the other countries are listed below. The UK is shown for information: an order from there may incur customs charges.
Which toys are compared?
The catalogue gathers games and toys from LEGO, Playmobil and other brands, sorted by brand, by theme (LEGO Technic, Playmobil City Life…) and by toy type. A theme gets its own page from 3 toys.
A product page is offered to search engines when the toy is compared on at least two Amazon stores of the European Union.
Where does the set information come from?
LEGO sets: set name, theme, release year, piece and minifigure counts come from the Rebrickable catalogue, credited on each page; building instructions link to LEGO.com.
Playmobil: the 4- or 5-digit reference leads to the official instructions on playmobil.com when they exist.
Recommended age, piece count and reference may also be read from the product title; a missing value is never guessed.
Price per piece
When the piece count is known, Funqio works out the price per piece from the lowest price less than 24 hours old, with its date: handy to compare two boxes.
No history, no alerts
Funqio keeps no price history and offers no alerts: only prices checked within the last 24 hours are shown. Links to Amazon are affiliate links; any commission never affects the order of prices or the catalogue ranking.
Rank shown on product pages
The sentence “No. X among the most viewed toys” comes from our own data: clicks to Amazon from Funqio over the last 30 days, among toys of the same brand. It only appears for the top 20 toys with at least 3 clicks. It is not Amazon's sales rank.
